boost problem
The turbos are boosting fine (I think). THe boost pressure is escaping somewhere......it can clearly be heard. You can hear the whistle from the turbos AND the rush as the boost pressure escapes. While boosting, if you let off the throttle fast enough, you can hear a cool BOV-sounding noise. My boost gauge reads slightly above five pounds of boost and the loss of power is depressing. It seems like the turbos are creating full boost, but most of it is escaping before it reaches the engine. Please help!!

Sometimes when I start to get on the gas (but not in positive pressure) I hear a sound that sort of sounds like it is blowing off or leaking. I think I do have a leak b/c my boost controller does some weird things sometimes and the last time it did that was b/c of a leak but just like you I don't know where it would be from.

Need more info, are you reaching full boost at all before the transition or is it from the start? If it's after the transition then check the charge relief valve to see if that's letting air out. If it's from the primary turbo then you can start by checking all of your ic pipes for leaks and the coupler that connects the y-pipe to your crossover pipe, that's a common problem. Also check your BOV to see if it's leaking or not. The secondary turbo will not come online if your primary doesn't reach 8 psi.
