Ok i was goin to change my boost pill but i have noticed after i took my intake off to change my bad injector but now my secondary turbo boost drops to zero? when i drive it hard? primary turbo sppols very nicely and i know it wasn't over boosted or anythin since i am only boosting max 9psi. So now i'm siiting here think i may have crossed a vacumme? Or what is this TCA i read about any insight?

 

The TCA is the big canister-shaped actuator under your turbos. It opens a hot-side door to allow exhaust to flow over the secondary. When the lines to it aren't working (one line dumps vacuum, one dumps pressure for extra oomph), you will have secondary boost loss.

Had the exact same problem, looked over all the actuators until i decided to check out if it was the secondary turbo that wasnt spooling right, and while doing the poor-man non-seq I realized that the TCA rod to the flapper was disconnected. The E clip was missing so the rod was pushing in butter.

Now that I fixed it, Im getting 6 pds on the secondary instead of 10, so alot more stuff to check out not.

 

Well I double checked my vacummes and found one that was off just barely. Now i'm getting the secondary turbo to spool. Fixed.
