so i recently put new twins in the fd a new exhaust system dp back inc a resonated mid pipe i also installed an aftermarket smic and intercooler piping ported the wastegate when turbos were removed. so i wanted to be safe from boost creep due to the mid pipe i wanted to throw a boost controller on the setup. i bought one of those ebay manual ones. i couldnt get it to boost under 10psi i got it on 10 psi on the money but would like to run it lower to be safe. i decided to do a trial n error on the boost controlled and waste gate. i removed the vaccum hose from the turbo to the waste gate the one w the pill in it and bypassed it with just a vaccum hose to see what my wastegate was sping was set at. i read around and came to a conclusion my car should boost around 7 to 7.5 psi i guess? i went and tried it out and it boost at 10 still. the pattern i got was 10 12 10. if ne one could give me some info or ideas that would be grat thanks.
