Boost issues...

would really appreciate a response, especially if my turbo or iff my engine is just giving me the singals of you know what. I've done research and readin, and can't find a problem similar to mine.

When the car is cold, itll boost to 8.
when its warm it boosts to 7.

boost fine in first, when I flip it to 2nd.. It will bost VERY slowly, adn then when the blowoff valve sounds, it sounds like a whiff. Same thing in 3rd. 4th and 5th I seem to have no problems.

My mods are: Stock twins, Intakes, power fc, catback, and a greddy profec b (that doesnt seem to do anything).

I also dont have restrictor pills, a local shop said the profec b would resolve the problem. It seems the profec b doesnt to diddly squat (figure this is the only thing i had another person install and its wrong). I don't have the actuator to the profec b. So im going to buy that and see if that can resolve this probelm also.

Id appreciate and feedback on these problems
Thanks

check your IC piping couplers first, they are notorious for blowing out, I went through 3 a couple summers ago before replacing them with silicone

well just looking at them isn't really going to do any good. Two out the of the three that I blew out, the tear was underneath the clamps. So you should take them off and inspect them. If there's a tear, your going to see it. Also, don't forget to check the coupler on the end of the crossover pipe coming from the turbos.

The FMIC should include silicone couplers that connect to the stock cross-over pipe and the stock IC elbow unless you got the Greddy elbow option that eliminates the stock IC elbow pipe. So your still going to have the stock rubber coupling that goes from the turbos to the crossover pipe.
