boost issue

The car was running great, cold night, was creeping up to 13 psi. I have 850 primaries so it wasnt a problem. The car was pretty hot so i let it idle in front of a fan after we were done driving. The next morning i am now only hitting 5 psi. I tried doing a pressure test but i think i am doing it wrong. I clamped a capped pipe with a valve stem into the TB elbow and filled it with air, it sounded like it was all coming out of the air filters, do i need to cap them also. all the couplers seem tight, cannot find any loose vacuum hoses.

the low coolant light goes off randomly, and quite frequently. and my water temp spikes and drops (from 50% - 75% then back down) it doesnt gradually go up or down just jumps. and also as of the other day my idle spikes up and down to between 1.5 and 2.7k

5 psi throughout the power band? Your sig says you have a cracked apex seal? What's that all about? Are you driving it knowing one of your seals are damaged?

Do a champagne test, sounds like you have exhaust gasses in your coolant.

Do you have a real water temp gauge or are you just reading off the stock gauge (that is nearly useless)?
