Boost to high

anyone knows why my fd boost so much? It runs about 15psi before i let go of the pedal(afraid to overboost). My mods are: mp(with sportcat), exhaust and filter. I have also put in a restrictor plate 2" in my exhaust without any luck. This problem started after i fixed a vacuum leak making my secondary turbo not to boost. So now both my turbos working but at alot of psi.

It appears that your wastegate is now not working properly now.

Disconnect the electrical plugs from the two actuators at the front of the UIM. If you hit more than 7-8 psi, then Chuck is correct and there is a problem with the wastegate not opening.

If the boost immediately jumps to 15psi, then make sure there are no leaks in the wastegate vacuum lines. None.

If the boost takes some seconds to reach 15psi, then I think you have boost creep and you need to port your wastegate.

today i tested the boost soleniods with 12v to hear a click and after that everything worked again, feels so good to be able to accelerate without looking at the boost gauge all the time.

thanks for your answers anyway!
