OK guys I just installed the greddy profec b spec2. After i have got done with the install I am not able to to adjust boost at all everythang turns on and it shows boost but is only goes to about .45 tops when wide open. At idle it reads -50. Is there a boost leak or what? cant hear nothing to the wooshing sound until i let of the gas at full boost then you here a wooosh. Is that i am not gitting to 7 psi to turn the 2 turbo on? I had a boost gauge and didnt thank that it was right. I gess it was. I have cheecked all the couplers and tubes did not find anything. Whats the advice for fixing?

The only thing that comes to mind is when i removed the pill in the wastegate line i'm gettig the same exact boost you are....you 100% sure its hooked up properly?

 

well no lol but it should still get 7 psi should it not

 

Well from hooking up a few manual home depot style boost controllers one controller controls boost, and the other spike. These replaced the hoses on the wastegate. one hose with no restriction brings boost low (7psi) block the line and you'll blow your motor with high boost. the other controller controls spike check these out for a good description of how the wastegates work:

well it seems to be hooked up right. I just dont thank i am gitting 8 psi to engage the second turbo(could this be the problem). Can anyone send me a pic of how the lines run to there spec 2 just to make shure. from the pics i have seen and the write up it sounds right but who knows. Could the turbo maybe going out. It never puffs smoke well it does when its cold out in the morning and i go to start it. Thanks for the help

Ok what could be wrong that i am only gitting about 4 psi max? Whats has went wrong on everyones car to only get below 5 psi?
