on boost, gauge cluster dies and radio shuts off

anybody have any clue why my RPM/Speedo/Odometer/Radio all shut off when i get up to full boost (7psi at the moment)

i am thinking bad grounds, but does anyone else want to throw out some suggestions?

You probably have a plug that is partially connected and makes intermitent contact.

short in the wiring or just an open circuit that needs to be better connected? Maybe it vibrates enough that it as you start flying, it doesn't make good contact. Anything else happen? PFC remains powered on? etc.

no, the car has power...PFC stays lit

i'm also getting some misfire when i hit about 5psi, so i'm thinking plugs are fowled or the grounding on the ignition is less than good

if i turn the car off and turn it back on, it all works great

it works great until you hit 7 psi again? or it works fine from then on?

I had the same exact symptoms, only mine happened when I hit the brakes. Sounds like bad grounds or a weak battery/alternator(charging system). I had my battery and alternator checked. I ended up getting brand new battery terminals and it seemed to clear things right up. Try that. It also wouldn't hurt to get some DIY grounding straps....

Don't forget to change both positive and neg. baqttery terminals.
