Just got a boost gague for the car and ran into problems........ The car that i bought had sat in the sun for a long time so that all of the plastic parts like the dash and all are brittle and dont like to be messed with..... so when i went to install the power wire for the boost gague i was unable to get to anything behind the dash like the tack power wire or anything cause of the condition of the dash. So with that said is there any other good points that i can connect the power to the boost gague so i can avoid possibly breaking the dash. I am still new at all of the rotary stuff so i am learning and would apreciate it if you can help me out thanks..........

 

Connect it to the ashtray light in the console. It's really easy to get to and works perfectly.

 

There is a switched 12v output in the panel above and to the left of the clutch.

Will this keep the gague light on at all times or will it come on just when i turn on the lights of the car?????

 

If you hook it to the ashtray light, it will only come on when the lights are on.

 

thanks alot man helped out alot, only have one more question...... is there a certin amount of things that you would recommend hooking up to that cause i am about to install a water temp gague and you think that it would be ok to hook up to that at the same time too?

 

You could try two gauges on that one wire, I'm not sure what the effects would be. I think you'll be fine though...

 

I had my boost gauge and egt gauge tied into the light for the ash tray and never had any problems.
