Boost frustrations

Hello everyone!

I have this problem with my FD, and I cant seem to solve it. I know that if it is fixable, this community will be able to help me out. OK, heres the background on the car. I bought it with a blown motor, and then I swapped it for a brand new rebuilt one with 9s on all faces. when I finally got it all put back together and in, it cranked on the first try. I broke the motor in, then I tried to boost and I got nothing. It felt like the spark got cut as soon as the boost guage hit 0. anything under that was prefectly fine. I adjusted the TPS with no improvement. I finally got it boost by adding a ground to the motor. But when it did hit boost, the needle went crazy, bouncing from .9 to .4. It would finally settle on .5bar or so, and pull ok, but when i let off the gas, I got HUGE clouds of oil smoke. I thought i blew the motor, but it was still running. I figured the turbos were blown, right? so I changed them out this weekend. 15 hours, many scratched fingers and a sore neck later, i still have the SAME PROBLEM. I dunno whether they smoke or not, i tried a lite boost run in the dark and stopped as soon as it got to 0. When it gets there, unless the motor is over 4K rpm, it feels like spark cut. I have changed the fuel filter, spark plugs and wires. I have checked and im 90% sure i dont have any vacuum leaks. it pulls -60 vacuum at idle. Im all out of options. I have checked the codes many times. I havent tried to hold the brake pedal down for 30 seconds trick though. NOTE, i have ajapanese FD, so it might be different. I dont have a check engine light. the same light on japanese FD's is an "overheat catayltic converter" light. I run the codes with no luck. Anyone have any ideas? oh yea, it runs like *** the first say, 10-15 minutes of running when i start it up in the morning. After that, it runs fine.
