Boost controller help.
Okay so ever since i bought my car i've pretty much been fixing up things on it that were fucked or done bodgy. One of those things is a dual stage boost controller, which im trying to remove from the car. Now the unit itself is a turbosmart one and it only has two wires that come out of it, a blue wire and a brown wire. i have attatched a quick but understanable diagram to give you an idea on how the thing was wired up as it looks as if the relay has been wired incorrectly (although strangely it still worked )
now i want to eliminate this thing as if it was never there, what do i do with the ORANGE/black wire? I am leaning toward grounding it as when i turn the key to the on position and test for power with a test light the rad fans come on and the test light only glows very faintly. also the diagram has one wire which says spliced into Black w/yellow stripe wire on relay circled, well i dont have a picture of the relay but its the one at the front on the higher pair mounted on the bracket.
And Finally i'm not sure where the silicone hose thats connected to a brass barb outlet on the unit leads to but what do i do with that also? ie do i cap wherever it joins up to or what? sory for this being a bit long-winded just didnt want to jump into it without knowing.
thanks,
Brad.

moderators will get pissed if you link to another forum.
dude if you have boost controller wires going to your radiator fans you've got BIG electrical problems/wiring hackjobs. Which instruction manual did you download? the only dual stage boost controller on the turbosmart website is a MANUAL boost controller! those don't have wires! I tried downloading the instructions to their electronic boost controller and it was dead link.
Electronic boost controllers have solenoids and pressure sensors... I've never seen one with a series of relays like that, although it might just be me. You say you hate the previous owner of your car but you don't even understand what's under your own hood. Don't go grounding wires that you don't understand!

i couldnt edit the thread what else can i do?
i think its actually a single stage one, it basically is a bleed valve setup, but has a switch that you can mount in the cabin so when you flick the switch the has power to it and then increases the boost levels. it is definately wired up dodgy trust me. i tried just grounding the orange w/black wire to the chassis and it didnt spark or anythin the fans just came on (this was on a dead cold engine)
help me???!
sorry for linking to another forum but there was no option to edit the original post. how can i go about doing this?
maybe a indepth wiring diagram of the cooling fan relays would help me out, and a diagram of which relay is what number, ie. theyre number cooling relay 1-4 but which is 1 which is 2 etc?
