Smile boost?

i was wondering how can i turn up my boost. do i need an ecu upgrade or can i just get a boost control. or do i need both.

depends no your mods man.

I would reccomend a cb, dp, mp, I/C, ECU, Fuel pump, and bigger injectors. I would run 12-14lbs. For a boost controller I went with a Manual one. You can also spend some extra money and get a electronic one like a Profec B or SBC-ID

Depends on your mods. If you have the basic bolt-ons, it's a better idea to have the appropriate fuel (upgraded fuel pump, ECU, and injectors) to balance out the added boost, or else you may run lean. If you don't have the standard bolt ons, an intake, downpipe, and exhaust, along with the above mods would be able to safely put you around 12psi, depending on your choice of setup. A boost controller would just be a way of...well, controlling the boost setting, but unless you have the mods, it wouldn't be wise to raise boost simply by itself.
