Bomz hardpipe fitting

I know the smaller bomz intake pipe doesn't fit the stock air box. Would a 45 degree bent connector (from turbohoses.com) allow it to fit correctly ?

It might, but it might also crack under suction like the stock pieces. I've been ******* around with that same problem for a while. Either use the stock flex tube or you're gonna have to cut the **** out of out that one to make it fit. That is what I've done with my ebay hard pipe kit and its better, but still not right.

Oh and try these guys http://www.hosetechniques.com/ instead of turbo hoses. turbo hoses fucked me and their customer service sucks. Call the people at hose techniques and ask em what they think.

Bump. Anyone know if a 45 degree silicon connector will make it fit? I've got a taped up slit in my flex connector, so I have to do something soon.
