We don't; anyone with decent taste likes either the stock '93 body or '99 body. Try coming on here with a Veilside body kit and see what happens.

Wow...speak for yourself, would ya? No one likes the Veilside kit because it's painfully obvious that it's ugly. But a lot of ppl like other body kits that are very nice and flow well with the car... Mazdaspeed, C-West, FEED, some RE stuff, etc. So don't make ignorant blanket statements like that again (anyone who has taste likes stock); just because you're broke or have no artistic sense doesn't mean you have taste

Fair enough, the Mazdaspeed, Feed, and Burnout kits look ok. It is my own (and most people on this board) opinion that the '99 spec body is by far the best looking one.

Just because I don't like aftermarket body kits means I am broke and have "no artistic sense"?

I don't see how you can get an FD to look much better than these:

Ever seen the picture of that bottom FD after it met up with that guardrail, didn't look to nice.

I'm with you though, I hate most all body kits. Those mirrors look great painted, I think people here haven't seen them on a nice, finished car. Jose's car looks awesome, but that isn't stock. It would still look great without the skirts though, and that would be close to 99 spec.

The car that hit the guardrail was very similar to this but isn't the same one. It was spoolin93r1's car that hit the rail.

I dunno if there's a poll w/ the majority of FD owners attesting to that lol but I'm sure 99spec is one of the most highly regarded. A lotta guys really like the C-west kit too, even though it's been played out quite a bit.

LOL...I think you missed my point. I was using your logic. You said "anyone with decent taste likes either the stock '93 body or '99 body" meaning if you don't like them (the best?) then you don't have decent taste. Kind of a blanket statement, so I made one of my own (no body kit = broke and not artistic). Just tryin to show ya how far off and inaccurate such sweeping generalizations of others can be, esp. when not everyone is like you and I

I don't see how you can get an FD to look much better than these:
99spec is def. very very gorgeous when done right. I def. am not debating that!

Because that doesn't look "good" to everyone?

Everyone has their own opinions. What looks good to one person doesn't always look good to someone else. That's like asking why people change the shift ****...

Bomex mirrors are cool, basically the same as the RE-Amemiya mirrors that a lot of people have on their FCs. (me included)

Holy crap! how close to people do you park??

Mahjik,
