Ketchup and Mustard! Sorry I have this thing about red and yellow... The Mazda Speed GTC looks pretty good on yellow FDs and you can get knock-offs (*JoeD*ALERT*Joed*) for really cheap. And I heard they align nicely with the fenders and hood too.

It's really funny that no one has really said something to this girl about going "all looks" before even doing some basic reliability work to the car, nevermind some very basic performance/suspension work. It's also funny that it's pretty evident that little, if any, research was done about FDs before she bought this car or else she'd know the prices of things ... but of course no one has said anything. I'd hate to think that it would be a different story were it a male.

now what would you do if she had done the research and actually knew what she was looking for and found one WITH all the reliability mods done to it. . . and you made it sound like the fact that she is a girl makes her blind to all of this sort of thing. all we did was answer her questions . .. which is the point of this whole thing. im sure shell have more questions as it goes on. people did bring up some things like the paint issue. . . and besides. . . if we didnt answer to her needs we wouldnt have any kind of a chance with such a cool, fd owning girl. haha.

btw rotary7girl, have you researched your car thoroughly and made sure that everything else is okay before you spend money on an expensive, and excessive body kit?

that was for you DK

Not sure who's FD this is

but I love the combo. Looks like Mazdaspeed GTC front end, R-Magic hood and I can only guess '99 jpsec wing.

I think we're in the minority Amp. I can't stand ANY of the bodykits I've seen. I like the 99 front end but don't like the wing. Come to think of it, I don't like the looks of ANY wings either. I think most of the aftermarket stuff just totally ruins the graceful classic lines of the car.

Beautiful without wings:

AMP whats up? I was at the North East meeting and i totally agree 3rd gen RX-7's donot need bodykits. The designs of the body alone are perfect. I would prefer not even the stock wing but i have an R-1 so its on there. I dont understand why people would put huge wings and body kits on an already gorgous car. Maybe its just the import fad.
