BNR twin turbo vs. Single Turbo Gt40r Garrette
Ok I just wanted to get a feel for what a single turbo Rx7 feels like.
I currently have a stock rx7 with a few mods. The turbo system has its intermittent problems every now and then...
How much of a difference is there from going from stock twin turbo sequential set up to a single turbo such as the Gerrette GT40r or something along those lines.
When you go from non sequential to a single turbo do you have to keep the car in the higher range rpms? like 4k + ? to keep the power up there?
And is there a big difference from going with BNR's to something like a bigger single turbo like a GT40r or something even a bit bigger.
I like the feel of the stock setup but after the transition I would rather have some more power until redline.
Is it alot more money to go with the BNR"s over a single set up?
And why woulld someone wanna go with a Single set up over the BNR's ?
