Thumbs up The BNR Stage 2 Dynamic Seal Turbos are tuned and ready to dyno!

Kan and I spent over an hour speeding around a deserted local highway making 3rd and 4th gear pulls. The a/f's are in the mid to high 11s and my injector duty (with 850/1300) is around 80-81%. This is with my profec b on high boost--1.10 on the commander, or about 16 psi. He tuned me from 7 psi all the way up to 16. Driving around last night, I had to dial the boost back to around 11 psi in order to get anything resembling traction in first and second gear .

It feels like a new car. The best news is that lag is almost non-existent....I'm driving the 7 the same as if I was sequential with no problems at all. The power is so linear--once I'm at full boost it just pulls smoothly to redline. The car feels like it has much more torque as well--my passengers are already complaining of whiplash .

I can't say enough about these turbos--it sure as hell feels like over 400 to the ground on high boost, and Steve estimates that the car will trap around 123 or 124 in the quarter mile.

Anyone in the dfw area that would like a ride, shoot me a PM....I'm here all weekend. We should have dyno results posted by tuesday .

Can't wait for another dyno prove what these turbos can do. Do you know anyone running these turbos with stock port. I think you and Stephen both are street ports right? ME ENVY....

Are these the stage 2, or stage 3 turbos? I was under the impression that the ones on Stephen's were the new stage 3s. Do you have the same? Or are they the older stage 2s?

Stage 2=both compressor wheels upgraded.

Stage 2 + dynamic seals=Stage 3 .

Best of luck on the dyno. I'm sure that you'll put down some impressive numbers. I know that i can't wait to have mine done! I've talked to Bryan at BNR and we're going to do one of his rebuilds for my engine and he's gonna do my turbos as well. Then I'm gonna have it tuned by Kan hopefully.(though I'm not sure how that'll work out) But with good tuning and about 17 or 18 psi I hope to put down some big numbers!! Congrats Rich. Laterz.

Dynamic Seal??

Well,

What are dynamic seal???? I don't know much about turbo, but wonder why those seals cost about 400 extra. And, would those seals help performace? Or just liability?

Anyway, I'm very interested in BNR upgrade twins since my turbos are almost done.

Thanks,

POM HB
