For the price and the power I wouldn't mind having to replace them if you needed to every other year.
then why not spend the money and get a single turbo kit. i mean i know this is great for the cali guys that have to get smogged but just about everyone else can just run a single turbo. i love mine, i have had zero issues. consistent boost even holds 10psi all day long which is nice

Because it would seem that it makes just as much power (if not more), is cheaper, and spools quicker then most single turbos.
Not only that, but you get some real customer service, and a real warranty.
We all know how fun it can be to get GReddy to send you parts, or help when something goes wrong.
Why would you want to run a single @10 psi???

actually guys according to my PFC is was peak boost of 1.1 exactly which is 15.95psi.....BUT my gauge was close to 17psi. I usually have about a 1psi difference between the two readings as does most everyone else with a PFC. You guys can go by which ever reading you want.

Also, for the non believers Steve Kan of Gotham Racing tuned my car and got these numbers......then told Brian he wanted a set for his CYM.

I'm going in the next week or so to another dyno just for a back up.

Oh yea, a few more interesting facts, my intake temps are WAY down over a stock turbo car. I can acutally touch the Y pipe and intake of the turbo after driving my car hard as hell up and down the interstate at 15psi and it didnt have any heat!!!!!!!

I'm telling you guys, your not going to believe these hybrinds. I sooo freak'n excited.

Nope, I dont have anything unusual, my set up is the run of the mill set up as a matter of fact maybe even less.

Street ported engine from BNR with oem seals.
PFC tuned by Steve Kan up to 1.1
custom IC VERY much like the M2 MED
custom intake with hard pipes and K&N filters
850/1200 inj with Walbro pump
full exhaust

I'm telling you guys there is nothing special about my set up I have the same think as a 1000 people on the forum.....EXCEPT MY TURBOS!!!!!! LOL

Before we go much further with this thread, I just want to repeat that eventhough I DID make those numbers on the dyno and it also feels like that on the but dyno as well we arent officially saying this is what the BNR's do untill I make my second dyno to back it up.

Also, I'll say that even if all they made was 400 (like I was expecting) they still would have been worth the money just because of the awsome spool and much cooler air temps.

They out spool the stock turbos for crist sakes!!!!

Whops, I didnt mention cause it was posted on the first page, I figured everyone saw it. It made 465rwhp @ 1.1 on the PFC and if I dont take off in 3rd gear I have absolutly no traction. Back in the day I ran a 12.3 @ 113 and I can tell you my car is WAAAAYYYYYYYY faster now.

There is a new dyno opening up 10 minutes from my house and that is where I'm going to make back up runs. I'm going to have them save all my runs to a disk so I can load them into the computer.

Well, I'm sworn to secrecy about the internals of the turbos, as a matter of fact after my dyno session he is going to talk to a patent attorney Monday. These are totally different than any other twin "upgrade" package anyone has ever seen, no one has ever even attempted to do anything similar to these.

I just dynoed yesterday and was out at the street races till 4am then Christmas shopping today so I havent been online.

To be quite honest we werent going to say anything in public about it till I made my 2nd dyno but since it got out anyway I decided I needed to say something.

Dragon, I dont know what my exhaust temps were, I dont have a egt. I'm running conservative tuning with a 11.0 a/f and 12degrees timing at WOT. I'm also running pump gas. And B10egv plugs with a MSD 6a on the leading.

I could have made more power at the same boost level just thru tuning but we didnt want to push it. I want a set up that I dont have to stare at the boost gauge and a/f ratio along with crossing my fingers everytime I push the gas petal. This is also why I only tuned for 1.1 eventhough I was only around 75% inj duty cycle.

Wow...

If these things deliver that kind of power and spool like stock sequentials AND have a pricetag thats more similar to the BNR regulars ($1650) than to the M2 set ($2995) like, say $1850... they'll be on my car in a hurry.

I'm not Brian and I dont work for BNR so I'm not speaking for him and nothing is in stone. Brian still has to go over his books and see exactly how much he has in these turbos but the estimate is around $2000 for a set provided you have a good core.

Again, I'm not Brian and this isnt a official price I'm just telling you what he thinks they will end up going for. He is wanting to make these very affordable....which I think $2000 is for the product....easily

As a matter of fact, I told him they are worth much more than that but he said he wanted to stay around $2000 anyway cause thats what his business is all about....making good product with good service for good prices.

The gap is .022 on the plugs. As for the split, I'll have to get back to you. I've been so excited just driving the car i havent looked at the split. I do know its conservative though. I'm not running 0 or nothing crazy like that.

Congrats!

What INJ duty cylce you running? 75%? That comes out to 400ish RWHP with a .60 BSfc (for a ported engine) and stock fuel pressure of 40psi. You would have to be at near 90% duty cycle for 460RWHP.

hmmm, I'll check it on my way to work. Maybe I was thinking of a run at a lower boost level.
