blue shifter bushing

I received the bushing kit from Ray but on the FSM it is all printed in black and white. So where does the blue bushing go? Top or bottom of the ball?

Are you talking of R503-17-481? Thatgoes on top of ball with spring M505-17-482;
R503-17-492 is below w/ spring 8599-17-482

Neither electronic or hard copy parts manuals show the second wave spring and bushing; however pg J-58 of '94 FSM calls out bushing & wave above & below pivot ball while not showing the "T" shaped plastic bushing that fits into side of ball.

Also posted in this forum is a photo of the parts and part numbers in relative postion. Refer to this post: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/shifter-bushings-demystified-980456/

A few other parts to change out besides what that threads lists:
Bottom bushing, OEM is plastic, 0398-17-462A ;or Mazdacomp alternative version is alumium # 0000-02-9402 ; note, some aftermarkert short shifters, RE-A for example, come with a brass bushing similar to Mazda comp.

Also change gasket # 0303-17-474 at top of bushing spring stackup and I change the dust boot that holds it all together .. #0398-17-462A
