Blown turbo question

Well, i havent had a pair or twins blow on me before so i have a question. I went into boost and felt a slight hesitation and then a big cloud of smoke and my oil light coming on. I shut the car off and pushed the car home. Now i took off the y pipe and didnt notice and oil in the piping to the IC at all. The Intake had oil dripping out of it however.

Now when i inspected the turbos there was just oil sitting inside of it. Does this sound more like the twins going or an oil control ring or something else?

Usually i can answer a lot of my questions by searching but I figured i would ask as well.

Thanks Jake

Do you have any shaft play? Some side to side movement is acceptable but you don't want the shaft moving forwards or backwards.
