Blown EGI Fuse

I've blwon 2 EGI fuses in the last week and I'm wondering what is causing it. After I blew the first one, i didn't think much of it, just a normal occourance. But then I blew another one last night.

So, I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what I should check first and what is on the EGI fuse?

Also both times it has blown has been in first gear. Kind of odd, being that i'm rarely in first gear.

almost anything powertrain related. could be one of the sensor wires not used for the haltec is shorting, aws etc... heavy accel may push a bare wire around. take off the manifold and have a look

I blew another one this weekend. Its is strange but everytime I've blown the fuse it has been in first gear turning left.
