blowing map sensors???

i have a 93 fd3s with a mines tuned ecu, non sequential 99+ spec kouki fd twins, block off plates on all the sequential solenoids and resistors added where needed, ive blown threw 3 map sensors already and i don't want to keep replacing them because they are really pricey, what could be causing this, since obviously there is no fuse for the map sensor what could be causing it to go out? Any input would be really appreciated.

thanks

There is a thread floating around from TurboJeff. He had a similar issue with continuing to cook MAP sensors. What it ended up being for him was the front left tire wass "burnig" thru the insulation and wires on the wire harness that is inside the wheelwell. ( Under the splash gaurd and towards the top. ) The wires had been rubbed raw and were now shorting together.

try looking there and i will look for that thread and attach it.
