Please forgive me for highjacking/building on this post a bit. Given that this is one of the MANY vacuum/pressure hoses where failure can mean almost instant engine blow, why don't we all run pop off or relief valves on our systems as a "fail safe" device?
Also, with an electronic boost controller, where you have to cap the one side of the wastegate and prespool actuators, I have never found a material to cap them with that lasted very long. . .what do the rest of you guys use for a PERMANENT cap. Thanks. . .

you have to use a high quality silicone/viton hose cap. i beleive it would be best to order them online. i dont think average everyday caps will work for very long.
