so whats a good bov to get for the RX, i like the one that has a shutter sound but not sure which brand offers it... please help

 

I think the shutter your talking about is a wastegate.

 

the ARC valve makes a sound like that.

 

Not sure of what your specifically looking for. Most reports say that for stock boost levels, the OEM BOV is just fine. But I understand there's not alot of "bling" to it though. If you judge by reports of loudness, I think the HKS SSQ gets pretty good reviews. It's also pretty pricey.

 

It's a pressure relief valve, get a descent one, and be happy your motor still works.... by the time you're asking us, which NOS kit to go with you'll be on your 3'rd rebuild.... be happy it works....

 

I have the HKS racing BOV and it makes that sound.
