Block Weld Treatment - How Long Last?

Just for future planning...

when a moderate coolant leak occurs how long do block weld treatments usually last? a week or 2? 1k miles or so...or another 20k? anyone have any idea from experience? Just want to know if it would last me long enough to find a new engine / rebuild one while running on block weld treatment

thanks

I'd just be alittle worried about that stuff in the turbo coolant passages and heater core.

If it doesn't get any worse, just make sure your coolant levels stay up. Could last a long time without blockweld.

Would you believe 14 months runng stock boost, would have gone longer if I hadn't pushed it to 10 psi on a regular basis. Gave me plenty of time to find a new engine. Forgot to mention I was daily driving it at the time. I did however pick up another FD to drive while I was transplanting the new power plant.

I did about a year before it gave out on me....probably about 6,000 miles or so. Stuff CAN work pretty good if done right.
