Block water inlet

I am sure it has been discussed but I have no clue what to search for.

Stock the car came with a little plastic cover that goes over the metal inlet pipe for coolant, mine has failed and I removed it. What do I replace it with?

Do I just put the hose onto the metal pipe that comes out of the block and clamp it? or is there a piece that replaces the old one and is better quality?

This is a stock FD with stock radiator and new hoses.

Yes, just slide the hose over it and clamp it.

Thank you, that was the answer I was hoping for.
