Question Block off plates

What exactly do these block off plates do? If I remember correctly I think someone told me that It takes all the vacumn lines and makes it into only 3 of them. Is that correct? If not, someone please correct me. I am going to be doing a vacumn line replacement soon and if this one makes the amount only 3 then I will be getting it.

Thanks

some of the blocking plates are for the warm up system and others are for the single turbo conversions.

BOP's (Block-Off Plates) are used to eliminate parts from your engine bay. You can eliminate your emissions control systems, AWS (Accelerated Warm-up System), Metering Oil Pump (not for people asking about BOP usage), and a couple others. It really depends on what you want to eliminate from your engine bay.

Do you need to pass smog inspections in your area?
