Blitz Intercooler Install

Blitz Intercooler Install
Installing a new Blitz front mount and looks like it wants to occupy the same space the R1 oil cooler hard lines want to occupy.
I see from a search that others have bent / persuaded the lines out of the way. Anyone have a picture of what needs to be done before I break something?
Thanks in advance.

As I recall you have to manhandle them a bit and push them rearward towards the engine. This includes removing one of the brackets holding the line to the cross brace up top, M6 nut on a threaded stud. Going from memory here. They'll fit, just barely

how far aft are you trying to mount it? i also have the blitz intercooler and when i had the stock coolers there was a load of space between them and the cooler. mine is mounted as far forward as it can go. the inlet/outlet are touching the front harness just slightly.

I'm looking at the install instructions as well as other pictures of it installed and its pretty obvious that the R1 Oil Cooler Hard Lines are going to at least be wedged tight against the fan shroud.
I'm going to use the Blitz brakets that came with the Intercooler. Wherever it ends up, thats where its going.
The Intercooler and N-Flow Radiator going in the car are Brand New and I really don't want to booger anything up if the lines can easily be persuaded - thats what I'll do. Figured a picture of that area with the hard lines would really help.
I'm almost considering putting the single oil cooler lines back in. Its not going to be a track machine, its going to be a look for trouble / hoon machine.

You don't want to go back to a single factory oil cooler---- oil does a lot of the cooling on a rotary engine, and you'll appreciate having the dual R1 coolers. My setup did fit with my Fluidyne radiator, and as I recall the lines were very close to the rad fan shroud but nothing concerning and never caused an issue. You also could look into running nylon lines and AN fittings on the factory coolers for clearance. It's been done before

I have the same Blitz FMIC along with the Koyo N Pass radiator which is really thick compared to the stock radiator.
For my R1, I had to free the oil lines and move them back and up almost to the bottom of the fan motors. Same for the AC lines.
