I just got the Blitz Dual Timer/Boost Gauge. The guy that had it before me tapped the harness for a car alarm I believe, so I want to get it back to normal, so I put the wires back that I thought were right, I mean, they all match up. Well, I put in the harness and plugged up the timer, came on fine, looks alright, but when I turn the car off, it doesn't count down, the car just shuts off normally. Can someone explain how the harness should look, the one that goes in the ingition plugs. There's 6 wires, 3 or 4 are y-ed off to the timer... should any of the 6 be cut or something. Also, second part is the wires coming from the timer... there's one wire that doesn't go to the 3-wire harness. Where does that wire go? I also don't know which of the wires are for what on the safety feature wires... there's purple one, orange one, and something else. I know ones for the speedo safety, one for parking brake safety and the other...?
