Blitz Dual SBC type S, warning
The difference between the type s(stock) and type
r(race) versions of the Blitz Dual SBC is the solenoid.
BELIEVE them when they say "S" is for stock. This smaller and cheaper solenoid can not adequately control 14PSI boost with a modded, stock turbo, stock port engine which has dynoed at 312RWHP with 12PSI boost.
Luckily my engine is non-seq and I had a spare Mazda solenoid with the same valve configuartion as the Blitz. It has a very slightly larger electrical resistance but larger outlet pipes and flows more air. This works great.
So do my above mod or spend about $100 more for their better solenoidversion.
