For stock fd turbos the STOCK bov is best b/k It is included FREE and when vented to the atmosphere insted of into the airbox it is plenty LOUD.

Maxpesce: How do you "vent to the atmosphere"??? Do you mean .......having to disconnect the hose leading from the BOV to the filter (I've got K&N set-up) and plugging nipple coming out of filter adapter? Leaving the BOV opened on the end? Please educate me on this procedure. Thanks.

You Got It - Some people say you have to add a small filter to the BOV hose b/k it MAY suck air under certain conditions - But I am not convinced.

maxpesce: I'm lost again!! Which BOV hose is it that may need a small filter? The hose-end that was disconnected from the BOV? (now coming out of the K&N adapter?) Thanks for your help!! And is it okay to leave the BOV end opened?

the blitz is not loud because it is turbo friendly. the sharper the blow off, the greater the chance of back spin. to adjust the blitz. there is a little hex nut on top. loosen it and then turn the threaded shaft with your fingers. look at the top of the bov, it has 2 arrows that tell you sharper or loose. be sure to retighten the hex nut when u hav adjusted it. not with your gorilla arms, just make it snug.
