Can you please post some pictures of it? Wish they had 17x9x38 available in square for the regamasters, may have to run that setup you mentioned since I think those are the only ones available.

I think you can get the Kansie wheels. Basically regamasters but with good fitment and width options.

No issues with this setup, even on full lock.

I'd like to see more pics from the side that show your ride height...... that front width & offset stick out past the fender. How many miles have you driven on your setup?

I do not have any side pictures. Unfortunately, the car has been sitting on jack stands as I am rebuilding the motor and also sold the wheel setup.

What specs were these, if they are comparable to RPF1's or other light weight high quality wheels, definitely something I would like to consider in the future. Really look amazing.

Admittedly biased opinion, I like the look of the Enkei PF07. No longer available.

Enkei makes one called the PF05 that looks very period correct and I bet would be very nice on the FD.

I'm having trouble believing that 18x9.5 +22 with a 265 tire isn't rubbing on a car that low even at at full lock.

My 17x10 +45 is sooo damn close on the track and my old 17 x 9 +35 RPF1's needed a roll. I'm on coilovers, too.

I don't have any picture of them on the car yet, but they are pretty common size for FD. Also the front are +35 not +38.

Some picture I found online, pretty sure these are the same offset.

Well... We don't know his spring rate and his car doesn't look to be very low. On the extreme side: I know the slammed stanced guys use crazy spring rates so their tires don't rub (as much lol). But it is also worthy to note that those guys will sacrifice total ride quality for looks all day every day.

The price is appealing, but doesn't seem to have 17x9.5 +45 available, at least not on their website?

Not sure any of the available fitment options would be ideal for the FD? Is also quite a bit more heavy though unfortunately. Regamasters are looking at 3k brand new right now, pretty steep ngl.

I'm on the more extreme side at 10.5 +38 265 all around and noticed I rub the fender liner at full lock and possibly while turning hard. I'm going to try raising the front and play with the spring rates, hopefully that helps a bit. Probably at 60% stiffness on the adjustable coilovers.

Got these for an amazing price lol, couldn't help myself

yes, as someone has posted, everyone has their own taste. There is no right or wrong answer. Run whatever wheel you want.
Personally I went with the updated OEM look. Gave me a wider foot print without sacrificing ride comfort or adding unnecessary weight. Just enough to clear the bbk’s.

Which year/trim OE wheels are these and whats the best way to find them these days? I wonder if they'd clear Stoptechs. Are you using a spacer to clear the APs?

The wheels have been offered as early as 1996. These ones in particular are from 98. They are the stock 17x8 +50 offset fronts, 17x8.5 +50 offset rears. Your best bet is to see if anyone locally here on the forum have them otherwise, you’ll need to hit up Japan Auctions. Just brace yourself for the price. Remember you get what you pay for.

They shouldn’t have any issues clearing the stoptechs since the AP’s are supposed to be a bit bigger than the equivalent stoptechs. Nope, no spacers. Direct bolt on.

For those going the extra mile, the OEM 17” spare wheel also clears the BBKs without any issues.

It's my brother's car so I haven't been able to drive it much. I like it a lot, you can have a lot more fun at street speeds I feel like, but I do miss the power in the FD.

Like stated above, I’m A sucker for OEM. These wheels check a lot of boxes for me. Shown with 15/20mm spacers for the more flush look
