the stock one is probably as loud as you can get after disconnecting it from the airbox. IMHO save your cash.

Go with the HKS SS BOV its badass great sound!!! An open filter will be louder than stock. I dont know about an aftermarket box like the M2 Performance Carbon box. Prolly louder than stock but not as much as a open element.

I agree the HKS SS BOV is the sewwtest thing on earth. Not only is it loud as hell, it also produces a high pitched whistle, not that same old woosh sound. It also performs great too. Hands down, a real head turner

Whenever someone asks this SAME OLD ******* QUESTION I always have to has, "Since when is 'best' associated with the noise the BOV makes?" Whatever happened to wanting function and quality? (GReddy Type S or Type R if you never boost below 1 bar) Why does everyone want a loud BOV and why does everyone want to "turn heads"? I just don't get it. Would you want a really loud-mouthed girl? Even if she "turns heads"? I don't, and I don't want a girl just because she turns heads -- I could care less on that part as long as she's cool, funny, athletic, and beautiful to me (read "blonde athlete"). Enough of that example ... Why do you want attention to validate yourself?

Blitz is the loudest one I've heard by far. HKS SS BOV makes a uniq sound, but isn't as loud. The Blitz sounds great, but my friend's, on his MR2, got stuck in the open position..easily fixed though. But the Greddys are great for reliability and functionality. BTW the BOV is not a neccesary modification, but it does protect the turbos during vaccum.

Funny ... I've got no problems with women ... at all ... which is why I can have a type and not have to settle for what a car attracts. I push those bitches off.

your just wasting 300$, you only ned a new BOV, it the stock can't vent the boost quick enough, I don;t know how much boost you are running, but with your mods I doubt you need one.

If your running stock turbo's, do you need to buy two bov's or just one?

An aftermarket BOV gives zero performance benefit over the stock BOV. It is just for noise and appearance. That is not my thing, but I completely respect the right of any owner to do what they want with their car.

reluctant owner of TiAL BOV after going single turbo eliminated the stock one
