Best fast acting IAT sensor options with Adaptronic ecu
Hi guys,
Im wondering which the best options are for a fast acting IAT sensor . I'll be using an adaptronic select ecu.
I've read through a bunch of threads and see the triumph and gm sensors being used often, are these the best options?

The Triumph sensor is popular because it threads into the stock location and the resistance curve is within (or close enough to) the tolerances of the FD sensor.

Seeing I'm using an aftermarket ECU is it any benefit that this sensor has a similar resistance curve to the stock one?
Lol
In terms of performance is there a benefit of the GM unit over the Triumph?
Using the existing hole would make life easier, but if the GM unit is a superior sensor then I will happy to tap a new thread.

Most go with triumph for ease of use for like stated before having the same thread pattern to go in the stock location, i had it there for about 2 years before i had to rebuild and we moved it the i/c pipping, and i still have the same sensor and it works just fine, its up to you what you want, even if 1 is slightly better for some whatever reason, they both will give you a quick accurate temp readings
