Belt squeal under elec. load...

I turn the key to off and timer counts down... car still running... roll up windows while standing up b4 closing door... when I lift window switch I can hear the belt start to squeak and also it does it when I run the A/C or lights... any idea on why its wanting to slip... bad alternator...? I am not getting a low charge off of it. I also can tell a diff between my headlights @ idle and @ 2k rpm's... unusual?
TIA,
Ryker

I had this happen once when I was turning on my Fans with the "AC fuse pullled out" fan mod. It never happened again, so I assumed it was nothing. If you find out what it was please post.

Have you tried tightening the alternator belt? If you can push the belt more than an inch with your pinky finger, then tighten the belt.

Thanks Jon for the advise... problem is... belt is tight as it will go... GReddy pully kit. I'm probably going to get my autozone friend to lift me a new one.
