Belt for Greddy pullies...

ok well here is my problem... i cant seem to find the belt for my greddy pullies anywhere... it is a 30.5inch 5 rib belt... it is the one that goes around the main, alternator, and water pump (not running the smog pump)... my question is this, is greddy the ONLY one that makes a belt in this size??? i cant seem to find it anywhere... thanks in advance...

Pretty much... I searched... then gave up. Went back to stock pullies w/ a 300 4 rib belt. No loss of electric charge anymore.

This is what put me off fitting one during my last belt change - does anyone know of a kit that uses a commonly available belt?

Slow7 - PM Wargasm. He is running the same pullies. I think he bought a 29.5" 6 rib belt at autozone and just cut one of the ribs off w/ a pair of scissors. Looked just like the 5 rib -

the 6 ribs are EVERYWHERE!

If you are using the stock main pulley then its a 31 inch belt.

I am using the Greddy alternator and water pump set as well as the Unorthodox Racing main pulley. This means my belt will be a little smaller than the one you might need because my main pulley is smaller than your stock one.

I bought a 29.5 inch 6 rib Goodyear "Gatorback" belt and then I took a pair of scissors and carefully trimmed off one rib. It has been working fine for 2 years now with no stretching or breaking.

I'm almost positive Rotary Performance sells the Greddy Belt separately from the pulleys.
