Battery Question
Battery Question
What is the normal voltage it should put out? People with PFC should be able to answer this easily. =)
I might have a dying battery, but I want to make sure. Before the car is on, its about 12V and once the car turns on it gets to about 13.7 - 14.2 V.
I left the sound on for about 5 minutes and i guess it drained the battery which is kinda silly. I had to get it jump started.
So I was just wondering if I need a new battery or not, and if I do, whats the actual size of the battery.

Every time I've done anything electrical that involved getting out the Multi-Meter, I've seen 12.7 with the car off, key in "on" position.
Never checked with car running. I'll take a look tomorrow while I'm out driving. Gotta love the PFC

Yeah, when I first start the car its about, 14.2 but it drops down to like 13.7 once it gets warmed up.
Also, I don't believe 12V is bad.
The thing is, it has a aftermarket stereo and speakers. Would that affect anything?
