Battery harness connectors....

I can't seem to find where these two clips go, or if they even go anywhere. They are under the oil pedistal, on the same main line as the alternator and ground.....and does anyone know where I can view the manual with all the color coded electrical stuff? the one posted that i found is zipped and I don't have a program to unzip it so i can view it.

The black one could be for your fluid level sensor. The white one may be to the AC, it's one I haven't seen for some time.

There are some free zip utilities you can download from download.com. I'm surprised you made it this far in life without one.

I forgot about the condensor....it doesn't work so I never even gave it thought.

these are off the battery harness, and i thought only the engine harness hooked up to any "sensors" and the battery harness just went to things like the power steering, ac, alternator, etc.

And about where they are is all the farther they will reach upwards if that helps.

The engine harness has a standard plug for the coolant level sensor but instead of running through to the ECU, it runs over to the battery harness. This is because it connects to a buzzer on the driver side of the car.

Mine is a black wire with a red stripe and connects to the main harness behind the oil filler neck. Do you not get the beep when you turn the car on?

it has been sitting in my garage for almost 2 years so I wouldn't know if the buzzer is going off or not.

thanks for the info though, i'll check the wires when i get home if I can get the phone to stop ringing so i can close down my shop.

Okay, made it home....finally.

The clip that went with the black wire with red stripe has a white clip which fits the ac condensor, which also has a white clip, so i'm 99% sure that's where that goes. And the little coolant sensor that is by the oil pressure sensor, I was looking at a pic on here and found what i'm sure is it's mate on the main engine harness, but that little black clip with the male connector has me confused (the one in my pic above). i can't find anything under there that it could possible go to. the oil pressure sender obviously is a no go because it needs a female end, and i already located that.

I'm gonna get a download of winzip and see what the manual says because I want to get this shiz done and on the road!!!

okay, i got everything hooked up but that black connector in my pic is still just hanging there. here is another pic to show location of the plug, it's the red one....

ALSO, i have one other connector that I just don't even see anywhere to place it. In the pic I posted below, it's labeled "coolant level disconnect" in the upper right hand corner by the OMP connector, and i just am lost on that one as well.

Bwaahahaha, I'm retarded.....they actually go together, I had my harness in the wrong position so they would reach but fixed that. the coolant level disconnect coming off of the crank angle sensor harness connects to that mystery black connector off of the battery harness.

woot woot
