battery choice?

what type of battery should i get for my standard s6?
how many plates and cold cranking amps do i need?

any assistance would be appreciated

you can't ever go wrong with a red top dry cell battery, they are on the spendy side though...

optima all the way....my car sat for 5 months and the battery still had enough juice to start the car.....

redtop optima is one of the best batterries on the market IMO. But I do want to look into a mini battery since I now have a FMIC. But a relocation would be better, although mini is easier!

I purchased a yellow top Optima, group size 51 and threw it in the passenger rear been without any hacking. This size is pretty hard to find. I saw it at Pep Boys for a whopping $159.00! So after some research I found this vendor selling the Optimas for very good prices. I got my yellow top size 51 for $89.95.
