Battery Boost Pack
I'm not sure if anyone post this yet, but this is so interesting, could be a lot of weight saving. The guy replaced his traditional battery using capacitors.
he started it with large capacitors
then go with smaller ones, weight almost nothing:
The only thing these things are not good at is HEAT. what do you guys think? could it work for our cars or not a good idea.

its a cool idea. the cost of the pack in the first video would be almost $400 using new parts. Also capacitors do not like being over charged (tend to pop/explode) and i would be worried about the pack gettting out of balance and popping all your expensive caps. but assuming no disasters like that, a cap pack should last a lot longer than a typical battery

Considering audio guys use large capacitors in their systems, I dont see that they have any regulators on them.
What type of safety circuit would be needed to make these fool proof?

1900A max current! if you happened to drop a wrench across the terminals it would vaporize lol
