Yes, there it is.
That brochure is a nice find. That steering wheel is rare now. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...cf12892ee.jpeg

Yep, they indeed did. Once I get my decals in hand I'll take some photos and post them up.
Do you by any chance have the pages from that publication that shows the BB B-X? The ones that are posted here are for 96+ |

Attached are photos of my grade 4 Bathurst X from USS Nagoya. The previous owner already tastefully upgraded to 99 spec front bumper, wing & tail lights :) as well as some information i can contribute on the bathurst X spec taken from the book “I love FD3S RX-7”

Those are painted for sure. Looks like a clean car otherwise, very much like mine, minus the 99 spec bumper. If you dont' mind me asking, who did you go through for importing, and what was the cost landed?

Yeah. Stay below 4000 rpm. You can still enjoy for a while.
15W-40 or thicker. |

The book mentions the 95's have unique badging, I don't imagine Mazda would have changed the decals from one year to the next on the B-X. The only differences are I think the ones that are already known. Black cars had one set of decals, and white had another. Everything I've looked at points to BB 95's having that decal. So it should be period correct, unless some marketing material proves otherwise, but I can't imagine Mazda would redesign the logos after 95 and then use the same ones for the remaining B-X model years.

Pretty sure that's the one he linked you. If you don't mind not having the correct decal for the car (like if you personally like the CW decal more) then more power to you. Just wanted to clarify.

@SwappedNA Sorry for being late to the party on this, but I did a grade search on your car using Mazda Japan's tool and got the following results confirming it is indeed a Type R Bathurst X, one of 777 limited - see below (translated from Japanese):

The "Base:: Type R Bathurst" puzzles me though. I think I have indeed seen reference to a 1995 Type R Bathurst, elsewhere, but otherwise have not confirmed its existence. The parts manual seems to indicate the BX was based on the base Type RB and makes no mention , that I can find,of a Type R Bathurst.
There is also a mysterious reference to a Type RM. (RM might be a winterized version.) |

There is also a mysterious reference to a Type RM. (RM might be a winterized version.) Then there is a December 1996 Type RB Bathurst X with 700 limited edition - the brochure was posted by Akomix on page 1 of this thread. Unlike the version V and version VI Type RB, it was a manual transmission model, not automatic and had the top power rating at the time, 265PS. This is also shown in the Spirit R brochure. They are similar visually and in terms of features. But you will notice that the B pillar decal is slightly different between the two. The Type R Bathurst X is a version 3 based car so chassis number starts with FD3S-3xxxxx The Type RB Bathurst X is a version 4 based car so chassis number started with FD3S-4xxxxx |
