bad clutch cylinder?

sometimes when I hold my clutch in it will lose pressure and stiffnes and stay pressed in when I take my foot off but then if I pop the pedal out with my foot it will be stiff again. Clutch was replaced about 1500 miles ago so I dont think its any of the bearings or anything with that, so does it sound like I need to replace my master and slave cylinders? BTW the line has been bled a cple different times and this symptom still pops up.

Same here, I'm replacing the spring, seals and piston for the clutch cylinder tomorrow. Got the same issue as you. I ordered my set from Ray Malloy Madza part # FD01-49-460 for $19.00. Tell him you're an RX-7 member, it lists for $34.96

My master cyclinder was replaced by previous owner. I think I'll bleed the entire brake system at the same time. Replace it with synthetic fluid.

I replaced the clutch so that's not the issue, looks like both of us have the same problem. I'll repost the status and resolution when it gets done.
