backfire at idle?
I noticed this odd thing today when I got home. I was in my garage wth the car idleing. Its idleing around 1kRPM and I can feel and kind of hear backfiring.
If sounds like the normal *Pop pop* you hear when driving around except it sounded more muffled. I would hear/feel one every 2 or 3 seconds at idle.
Any idea whats going on?
Mods are in the sig if you need to know.

Try adjusting your idle air bleed under angle pipe, recessed screw beside the lower right nut of angle pipe. But do the whole procedure.
1. All electricals off - fans, lights etc.
2. Paperclip between the "TEN" and GND points in the diag. connector.
3. Adjust out the "idle speed", near throttle cable, til it has no effect.
4. With the air bleed screw, I use a mirror to see it, adjust for 750RPM.
5. Take off paperclip. Idle controlled by ecu again.
6. Adjust the "idle speed" until it just starts to increase speed then back off a hair.
Idle mixture should be ok. See if that makes a difference.
