Talking Back from Iraq and Look what I found!

Thought I would share some pics with you guys. I went hog wild with my money while I was in Iraq, but I feel it was worth it. In case the pics don't show up too well here is what is shown.

http://photobucket.com/albums/b25/mikemarkk9/

ASP medium intercooler
Fluidyne Radiator
Type S BOV
Greddy Elbow with flange
RX7 Store High Flow Cat
PFC holder from Gotham Racing {PFC will be here Tuesday :-) }
Eclipse CD8445 Head Unit
Not to forget the Volk SF Winnings in Mercury Silver 18x10 rear, 18x9 front.

Also a pic of my bay, in the event someone spys something I need to get done, since I am the noobiest of noobs.

Before I go, what's up with the piping that came with my IC? It looks as if they are too small, and the I may not even need because of my intake. Please enlighten me as to what I need to know.

Also, I posted these on photobucket, so I hope my link works out. Maybe all you have to do is cut and paste it.

Later.

So did you buy that in Iraq or order it and it was there when you got back? Very cool either way though. Pics of the car when it's done please.

about your bay, you might want to consider turbojeff's battery tray. It's excellent and lets you fit in the smaller 51r battery giving you some space for the intercooler (not that it's absolutely need).

Also, I would consider the gas shock hood openers. you might find that after the radiator and intercooler install that the hood prop can't close over the intercooler duct. It varies from car to car but mine was a no-go!

GREAT WHEELS!!!

No problem serving this country, can't think of any other I would rather serve. As for the Volks, it took me about 2 moths of research and decision making to go with those. 7racer's car being done way before mine helped in making that decision.

I've been waiting for that GB to go through in order to get turbojeff's battery tray, but I have never been a fan of waiting, so if there is another way to get one I'll take that route.

The gas shock openers? I thought I just purchased those. The green ones from Tein are already installed. 7racer are you refering to another type of hood damper?

I bought everything when I had access to the internet. I would return from "activities" and jump on the computer and put my order in. Just sucked having to wait for so long before I could see everything.

Okay enough of my rambling. Any other pointers you guys may have are greatly appreciated.

Mike

I will be contacting Jeff shortly about trying to get the GB on the trays started. I am pretty sure we have more than half the people needed for this to start production. I wll keep you informed.

I got the wheels from Wheels boutique.com. Think my spelling is wrong, and they came out to a total of $2,430.00 delivered to my door. The wheels were not listed on their advertisment in the magazine, but I called them up and sure enough they had them.

By the way, thanks for the update on the battery tray 2rotor!

Again, does anyone see what I mean with the piping for the IC and how it looks like it may not fit? Probably me just being paranoid. Remember, I'm a noob.

Very nice stuff. For a minute I thought I was gonna read something like "my wife bought this stuff for me while I was away" (tip for the ladies ). Glad you're home safe.

Force13b, I guess the one pipe I have is for use with the stock intake, which I do not have. I guess I need to go find polished piping to replace the stock stuff. Just have to wait and see what happens when I get it installed. Just money right?

Man, I need to go to the desert again and make some cash.

Parts look good and the wheels...

Please post some pics of them as soon as you get them mounted on the car. I need to know what these look like on a red FD!!!
