This is weird. So my manifold is a JDM one and doesn't have AWS so I just left it unplugged. Now the ECU is suppose to throw a code right? Im surprised I didn't get one yet. My CEL does come on when the key is ON so it is functioning.

Id hate to have the CEL not working properly and have a problem with the car and not know there is a problem.

I believe a 330ohm 1/2watt resister should do the trick from what ive been told. you'll need 2 make plugs and one resister and stick it in and wrap tape around so nothing can short out. this works for other solenoids. correct me if im wrong my mind is fried right now working on my own car

 

Not all codes illuminate the CEL. Some are just stored.

Pull the codes from the ECU. RX7 FD and Series 5 Error Codes

 

Yup code 38. Didnt know it doesn't illuminate from it. Good to know.
