awe geez guys (clutch questions)

I just learn how to drive stick and so I'm hoping i just wor out the clutch. Heres symptoms of problem. When I drviing somtimes it would rev real high and speed would not increase. Ussually when i hit the gas real hard. Is this a sign of the clutch slipping. ANyway I had this really fat chick in my car today(no offense) and It started getting worse to the point where my engine was reving, only the car was not really moving. I eventually had to pull over on side of freeway and have it towed. Now when i press on the clutch it wont go into any gear. I drop it off at the transmission shop. DO you guys think it just needs a new clutch or could it be transmission?

Clutch was slipping, and is probably metal to metal now, my car was doing the same things when it needed replaced. So you definately need a new clutch, and should get a lighter flywheel if you have the money. I got a spec stage 2 clutch at the lowest price from http://titanmotorsports.com/mazdarx7.html - page with clutches, their price was much lower than everyone else online selling those clutches.

Maybe something could be wrong with your tranny, but I don't really know why.

Over here if you go for an exedy which was the original clutch its approx £300 ($552.50) + £200 ($368.33) fitting you may be able to get it cheaper over there.

I recently changed mine myself (ballanced on 4 axle stands on my driveway!) and its easy enough to so long as you know what your doing, saves you a bit of money and get to learn more about your car.

Yeah sorry! lol! but like I say, look around, you may find it cheaper.

Dont go for a budget clutch as they tend to be of poorer quality and last half the time!

joeyz87, joeyz87, shame on you, bro. No fat chicks in the ride, you can't find a good looking girl to ride witcha? hope shes not one of your pizza deliveries. Dude like I said before about that car, take it to a rotary mechanic, get a diagnostic done, fix the most important stuff first. I do have to admit, your posts are hillarious, I sometimes if you are saying stuff to make us laugh, except its true. So far you have reported some of the worst signs that this car can give. BE careful.
