autoX mayhem (pics)
Here's some pics form the psuedo autoX we have here in Italy...
It's not really true autocross because we encorporate long sweepers and 95 mph straights...but who's complaining? We pretty much set up a long course and shine our seats with our asses!!!
What's really cool is when an F-16 takes off right next to you...(we set up on an active taxiway in case you couldn't tell from the pics)

canman6969,
No...we have to have the lights on while we're on the course...it's a safety rule for the flightline. But I've turned the damn windshield wipers on a time or two
I_Romo,
I take my car to Germany for any major work...north of Munich in Gersthofen. A Mazda place called Auto Frey. I do all the minor stuff myself.

If you're in Rome it'd be one hell of a drive though. I had to limp up there from here with a blown apex.

Tee Hee...just checking out my new avitar...
Yes that's me on the right...no I'm not a pilot, this was my incentive flight (but I got to fly it!!!)
This is why my FD is the "2ND" fastest I've driven.

I'll ask the guy who took the video if he's made an mpeg out of it yet...but he might be a little mad at me
He drives a riced out Saturn and was telling me that he got his new racing seats...I might have have made a comment like..."great, now all you have to do is get fast enough to need them." For some reason, I don't think he appreciated it. Oh well, he's kind of annoying.
