autometer gauge installation
anyone point me to a link for installing the water temp gauge? I bought autometer today. The boost gauge seems to be a no brainer, but i need some guidance for the water temp. My other question ...does The stock water temp gauge work still after installing the new one? Thanks!

This is a good site for how to's. Are you going to connect your boost gauge to one of the nipples sticking out of the intake manifold?

The stock water temp gauge still works after you install any aftermarket gauge, they do not share sending units. The autometer gauge will come with it's own temp sensor you will need to install.

I looked inside my Engine today to see where to install the probe, There is one spot a few inches below the radiator cap, near one of the engine belts. It looks like some sort of bolt. I am not sure if this is where I am to install this, the instructions on that website were not clear (didnt look like a FD to me) I don't want to drill anything like the web site said. Any ideas?
