automatic vs. manual ACV ?

I noticed that there are different part numbers for the air-control valve assembly (ACV) for an automatic vs. a manual FD.

Anyone know the difference ?

I have them physically in my hands, and I can't see any physical difference, and the workshop manual makes no distincting in testing parameters.

I checked the solenoids attached, and they exactly the same, just like the parts manual states.

The automatic version has only 100-miles, so I want to know if there any problems with installing it on my manual FD vs. re-installing my old one that has 100K+ miles on it.

BTW: this is the assembly, both test good, not the replaceable valve (which I'm installing new along with a new gasket).

TIA,
:-) neil

Heck, I'd run it. The only thing I could see is a physical difference (the body is different, another solenoid on it, etc.) or something electrical. If they look the same and are the same to the meter, they're the same enough for me .

They have the exact same amount of solenoids, same pn#s, and same orifices that I can see.

I'll probably post a pic later.
