I just had my engine rebuilt by Japtrix on my Automatic 3rd gen. My hold light would start flashing everytime I hit 31mph and throw a code 55. This happened BEFORE I had the engine done. I had Japtrix replace the Pulse Generator, the source of the problem and now they cannot get the car to operate in any gear but 2nd and 3rd. It acts as though it is 'stuck' in hold mode, but the hold button does nothing right now. You get the same exact results on a properly operating Automatic if you press the hold button. What could possibly be wrong?
